  • East Route

The Museum of the History of the City of Barcelona was opened in 1943 and contains remains from the Roman Barcino of the 1st century BC to the Barcelona of the 14th century, in the Early Middle Ages. An underground visit allows you to stroll through the streets of Roman Barcelona, gain a close-up view of the city walls of the time, enter a 2nd-century laundry or contemplate the traces left by the city's first Christian community, amongst other activities.
