Museum of the History of Catalonia

Museu d'Història de Catalunya
  • East Route

This building is the only one that remains from the old port of Barcelona. It was restored before the '92 Olympics, and converted into a space housing, at the bottom, a number of restaurants and, at the top, services of the Catalan government. The other half of the building is home to the Museum of Catalan History, inaugurated in 1996, which helps visitors to interactively learn about the history of Catalonia, from prehistory to the present day.
